Tried Oxytocin? Want to Be on TV?

I'm very excited to be a guest on the Morning Show with Mike and Julie on Fox this Thursday. And, while I'll talk about my own experience taking oxytocin, I'll also talk about the research and my book.

The producers hope to find someone who's taken oxytocin on their own, just to see how it feels, solve a social problem or something. If that's you, and you're prepared to show up in New York by Thursday 8 AM (they'll pay travel) email

Susan - I saw the interview and I have to say it looked like a planned assassination of oxytocin. They didn't allow any time to explain anything about how the hormone is generated in the body and what it does, they just immediately started attacking it. This subject is a bit complex and it requires some context. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the malpractice attorney in the audience is lining up a suit against Liquid Trust right now; it was obvious he can't wait to get another suit going.

This is one reason I don't care much for the electronic media - they pose as journalists but are actually just entertainers who provide filler and blather between commercials.

No kidding. They weren't super upfront with me; I thought I was going to talk about why people are so excited about oxytocin, and why they might want to try a product -- as well, of course, as about my book. Oh, well, that's TV for you.

A lot people confuse oxytocin with oxycotin. Did not see the interview but you came in as the "hug monkey" into a pack of wolves. You should have had a oxytocin tear gas grenade with you and tossed it.

ha ha, you are so right. And, unfortunately, the internist they brought in as an expert didn't even know what he was talking about. They didn't give Paul Zak, one of the top researchers, much chance to talk, either.
