Quiz: Is It True Love?
I write a lot about the difference between romantic love -- which never lasts -- and what I call "true love." To me, true love is the deep, emotional and physical bond that's based on oxytocin.
I wrote a quiz that's not super-scientific, so don't go making any important decisions based on it. But it should give you some insight into the basis of your relationship.
You can find it here: Is It True Love?

I've read somewhere that if you want to find out whether you're really in love with someone, you should note your feelings for them five to ten minutes after sex. Easier than a quiz?

I dunno if I agree. Why five minutes? I think this little rule of thumb may be for men only.
I'd assume it would take much longer for the oxytocin in a woman's body to dissipate -- maybe days. Maybe a man would snap out of it in five minutes.

It could very well have been a rule applying only to men. I don't remember the source, neither was I able to find it using google, otherwise I would have been more clear about the context.
